Located west from the Kennedy Expressway to Kimball Avenue and north from Fullerton to Diversey Avenues. The actual Logan Square, which gives the community its name, is at Kedzie and Logan (between Diversey and Fullerton). It really is a small hill with a classical marble column honoring the centennial of Illinois statehood in 1918. Logan Square is famous for its wide landscaped boulevards that have remained virtually unchanged for 100 years. Many wealthy Chicago merchants and entrepreneurs built massive greystone mansions here.
